Meridian, Mississippi Organ Rally
with Soulé Steam Fest & Rail Fest
November 2-3, 2012
Venture into the Old South and join the members of COAA as we partner with the Soulé Steam Festival and Rail Fest November 2-3, 2012 in Meridian, Mississippi. This will be the second time COAA has held an event in Mississippi and will be the southernmost location for a rally. Pairing up of mechanical organs and steam engines is an ideal combination and The Great Dorset Steam Fair in England is a good example of how much fun that can be. Step back in time when travel by train was preferred, the steam engine was king, and mechanical music was all the rage.
Meridian, MS has much to offer COAA members. This is a southern railroad town that has not turned its back on its roots. Amtrak still serves the community and the restored Union Station still serves as a transportation terminal. If you have access to Amtrak service then take the train and save yourself the drive. Come and enjoy the southern charm that this Mississippi railroad town has to offer where they are famous for Magnolias, Mint Juleps, and Southern Hospitality!
